Nepal celebrated the Bhumya Festival on June 17, 2019. Women from the Magar community performed the ritual dance during the celebrations at Kathmandu.
On this day, the Magar community from mid-western Nepal celebrates Bhumya to worship Mother Earth to keep their grains, livestock and people safe from natural calamity.
